BRIDGEPORT—Partners In Care, the private duty subsidiary of the nonprofit Visiting Nurse Services of Connecticut is now offering a personal emergency response system that provides clients with 24-hour-a-day access to emergency services in the event of an accident or illness. The system, called VoiceCare, allows customers to reach a Connecticut-based call center with the touch of a button. Operators immediately assess the client’s needs and notify appropriate responders.
The VoiceCare system is manufactured by the American Medical Alert Corporation, a highly respected company that has thousands of clients across the United States. The system uses a two-way console that automatically dials the response center when activated by the client. VoiceCare not only provides security for users, it also offers significant piece of mind for the client’s friends and loved ones. It is especially useful for homebound seniors and handicapped individuals.
The system is installed by Partners In Care staff, who also provide a comprehensive tutorial for the client user. Cost of the VoiceCare system is a one time $50 installation fee and a $34.95 per month service charge. For more information about the VoiceCare system, call Partners In Care at 1.800.524.6475.
