VNS Participates in Macy’s Shop for a Cause

BRIDGEPORT—Visiting Nurse Services of Connecticut is teaming up with Macy’s to offer the public a chance to support the agency while shopping at one of the company’s Connecticut stores.   On Saturday, October 17, Macy’s will sponsor its Shop For A Cause event.  By purchasing a $5 shopping pass at any VNS of Connecticut branch office or through the agency’s development department, shoppers will be able to save on select store merchandise and be entered to win a $500 Macy’s gift card.  Proceeds from the sale of the shopping passes will go directly to VNS of Connecticut to help the agency provide home health care services for community residents in need.  To acquire a shopping pass, visit a VNS branch office at 765 Fairfield Avenue, Bridgeport; 84 Oxford Road, Oxford; 62 Commercial Boulevard, Torrington, or 40 Lindeman Drive, Torrington or contact Lila Grimes at the VNS Development Department by calling 203.366.3821 X1111 or emailing Lila at lgrimes@vnsct.org.
