VNS Seeks Auction Items For Annual Clambake
BRIDGEPORT—Visiting Nurse Services of Connecticut, a nonprofit organization that
provides home care and hospice care services for residents of 54 communities in Fairfield, New Haven and Litchfield counties, is seeking silent auction items and theme gift baskets for its Ninth Annual Clambake fundraiser on June 9th at Brooklawn Country Club in Fairfield.
Chairpersons for this year’s event are Nancy Hayes of Fairfield, Karen Mercer of Trumbull and Patty Merola of Milford. All proceeds from the Clambake fundraising event will benefit VNS’ Medically Underserved and Hospice at Home™ programs. Last year, aided by the generosity of special event supporters and other benefactors, the agency was able to provide compassionate care and comfort for 1,800 needy residents, achieving high quality health outcomes and end-of-life care.
The event, set for 6-9 p.m., will feature lobster, prime rib or salmon dinners with plenty of beverages, including wine, as well as a silent auction and raffle. Two levels of tickets are available: Master Chief at $75 per person and Commander at $100 for those who would like to especially acknowledge the agencies activities.
To offer auction items or gift baskets or to obtain tickets, contact VNS of Connecticut Director of Development Brinda Pola at 203.366.3821 ext.1098 or email at bpola@vnsct.org.
